Real Pressure
Pastor Luc in kitchen.
I wanted to let you know that our dear ones in Haiti are fine after the storm passed through. Max Wright, the directer of World Renewal-Haiti was finally able to contact Pastor Luc after many unsuccessful tries. Luc says they are a little wet but fine We are grateful to Jesus.
Max recently visited Haiti and our new church. We are praising the Lord for so many who came to Christ at this new church on the first Sunday.
We were all concern when Luc reported to us several weeks ago that his daughter Rose Luci had high fervor from malaria. His wife, Rosana had a fever and so did our young leader McDonald who lives them.
After days of praying for them we got the next report. They were well. Luc and a friend had led a time of prayer and fasting in their churches. The sick were well and revival had broke out in both churches with several finding Christ.
Tim Tiboe, last year's college football Heisman winner is a Christ follower. He went on mission trips this summer. This week he was asked about the pressure of a new year after such an award filled year last year. He explained that people in third world countries who are just try to find food and survive are the ones under pressure. "This is just football." He has it right.
Thanks for stopping by.
