Friends Worship Center Columbus, Ohio
I am preaching Sunday, August 16, at Friends Worship Center on the southwest side of Columbus, Ohio, 3030 Clime Road. 614-279-6706. Pastor Bruce and wife Judy Bell are long time friends.
My goal this week has been to keep my eyes on Jesus Christ and not on the storm around me. I have read several times Paul's admonition to "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again:Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7. I confess I have not been able to avoid the "anxious" all week. I am tying the not on the end of the rope and trusting Him.

Understand the anxiousness and am glad to hear of God's provisions coming through (better late than never).
