Marcone's New Birthday by Rachel Winzler World Renewal-Brazil Missionary

Marcone doesn't have a birth certificate. To the government, he doesn't exist. He has never been to school, and his older sister takes care of him and his 4 other brothers and sisters. Marcone is deaf, and can communicate only through basic gestures. But this year, we decided to make up a birthday for Marcone, so he could celebrate along with everyone else. We believe he is 16, and through the Living Stones 10 FOR THEM program, he had his first birthday, which is now officially on October 12.
